I have practiced since a child the gift of immersing myself in beautiful natural surroundings.

Offering my exhaustion, grief, confusion, gratitude,creativity to a natural environment that holds me.

I fully believe that the connection or lack of connection we have with the natural world around us reflects deeply on our soul and well being.

I aim to swim in the sea daily, on miserable weather days I really miss that emersion. In autumn when the sea offers up an extra dose of nutrients, Minerals, vitamins, amino acids, trace elements and antibacterial micro organisms that heal and repair you can feel your getting fed from the skin to your core its amazing. Magnesium, retains moisture in the skin, reducing inflammation, leaving skin fresh and vibrant. Mass circulation occurs when your submerged in the invigorating freshness of our coastal waters, Muscles relax, deep sleep is promoted and a cleansing, in fact an entire reset occurs in your system, there’s actually nothing quite like it !

Sea swimming is linked to stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for rest and repair, releasing dopamine and serotonin. Whatever the weather I have NEVER regretted going for a swim.

If your not keen on “Getting in” the lying beside, nested up in soft layers of coastal grasses and totally taking a couple of hours out is incredibly restoring.
